• Granada – The last Nasrid stronghold. Featuring the Alhambra (palace‑fortress complex), Generalife gardens, the Albayzín quarter, and the Sacromonte caves.

• Seville – The heart of Andalusian power under the Almohads. Highlights include the Giralda (former minaret), the Real Alcázar (Mudéjar‑Islamic palace), the Archivo de Indias, and the Santa Cruz quarter.

• Málaga – Birthplace of the poet Ibn Gabirol and home to the Alcazaba (best‑preserved Muslim fortress in Spain), the Gibralfaro castle, and the Roman Theatre.
