El itinerario

Día 1 – Madrid

Immerse yourself in the Islamic heritage of Madrid with our exclusive private tour. Beginning at Plaza de Oriente, we trace the origins of Mayrit, the city’s first Islamic settlement founded in the 9th century under Al-Andalus. Walk along the remains of the Arab Wall and the site of the former Great Mosque (Aljama), and explore the peaceful Parque Emir Mohamed I, where vestiges of the old fortress still whisper stories of the city’s Andalusi past.

Continue through the Austrias and La Latina districts — once lively quarters of Islamic and later multicultural life — uncovering emblematic sites that reveal Madrid’s hidden Andalusi soul.

Optional experience: Enhance your experience by booking your skip-the-line tickets to the Royal Palace of Madrid.</p

Día 2 – Madrid, Toledo y Córdoba

Depart from Madrid by private car and travel to the historic center of Toledo   a UNESCO world heritage site, perched dramatically on a rocky hill and encircled by the Tagus River. Once a thriving city of Al-Andalus, Toledo preserves remarkable traces of its Islamic past — the ancient Mosque of Bab al-Mardum (Cristo de la Luz), the Casa de las Tornerías, and the former city gates such as Bib-al-Mardum and Bib-Sacra, silent witnesses of its Andalusi splendor.

Qurtuba, once the splendid capital of Al-Andalus founded by the first Umayyad emir, Abd al-Rahman I, in the early 8th century, became a beacon of art, science, and spirituality. Visit the magnificent Great Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba (UNESCO), one of the finest masterpieces of Islamic architecture in the Western world.

Afterwards, stroll through the former Muslim quarter — today known as the Jewish Quarter — a maze of narrow, whitewashed streets filled with flowered courtyards and timeless charm. As you walk, uncover the layered history of this World Heritage site and admire the elegant remnants of Andalusi architecture still visible throughout the city.

Enjoy panoramic views from the Roman Bridge and the Calahorra Tower, framing the old city as it once appeared to travelers of Al-Andalus. Step into artisan workshops and discover Córdoba’s rich tradition of craftsmanship — from fine leatherwork and ceramics to exquisite silver and gold filigree, techniques perfected here for centuries. Overnight in Seville.

Optional Experience: Enjoy an extraordinary equestrian performance at the Royal Stables of Córdoba.

Día 4 – Sevilla

Today, enjoy a private guided tour of the Royal Alcázar of Seville, a world heritage site celebrated for its exquisite blend of Islamic and Mudéjar architecture. Wander through its lush gardens, tranquil courtyards, and intricately decorated palace halls that reflect centuries of Andalusi art and craftsmanship.

Optional Experience: Enhance your visit with a 1-hour sightseeing cruise along the Guadalquivir River (€18,00 pp).

Día 5 – De Sevilla a Granada

Depart from Seville by private car for a journey of approximately 3 hours through the rolling landscapes of Andalusia, arriving in Granada — once the dazzling capital of the Nasrid Kingdom, the last great dynasty of Al-Andalus.

After check-in, a taxi will pick you up to take you up the Albacin Hill to discover the soul of Madinat Gharnata, the medieval city that flourished under Islamic rule from the 11th century. Stroll through the Albaicín Quarter (UNESCO World Heritage), the historic heart of Islamic Granada, where the narrow, winding streets still follow the original layout of the Andalusi medina.

As you wander its whitewashed lanes, pause at scenic viewpoints such as San Nicolás Square, offering breathtaking views of the Alhambra framed by the snow-capped Sierra Nevada. Continue along the Darro River, following a picturesque boulevard lined with Renaissance palaces, stone bridges, and remnants of Moorish houses, cisterns, and fortress walls that once defined the vibrant spirit of Al-Andalus.

Al finalizar la visita, un taxi le llevará de regreso al hotel.

Optional experience: End your evening with an unforgettable Flamenco show in Granada, where passionate music and dance echo the deep Andalusi soul of the city.

Día 6 – De Granada a Madrid

A taxi will pick you up in your hotel to drive you up the Sabika Hill where the Alhambra Complex is located to enjoy a private 3-hour guided tour of the Alhambra and the Generalife palaces and gardens, masterpieces of Nasrid art and architecture. Stroll through serene courtyards, intricate stucco halls, and lush gardens once reserved for the sultans of Granada.
